Excluded items include Great Buy merchandise, framing purchases, doorbuster savings, candy, beverages, magazines and books, gift card purchases, LEGOs, craft technology and related accessories, Cricut, Silhouette, and Christmas trees. Can You Price Match at Michaels?

Yes! Michaels does price match. If you find a lower price at another brick-and-mortar business or select online retailers, Michaels will match that price plus offer an additional 10% savings. To price match at Michaels, bring a copy of the advertisement, a printout from the website or a photo of the advertised price to the Michaels store register.

Michaels also offers the best price guarantee and if you find a lower price within 7 days of purchase they will adjust the price. Michaels reserves the right to verify competitor pricing and availability. Items price matched must be identical in the brand name, weight, color, quantity, size, and match in the model number.

Can You Price Match With Online Orders at Michaels.com?

Yes. Price matching is available for online orders. If you purchase an eligible item on Michaels.com and find the same item for sale at other eligible online retailers or in a Michaels digital or print ad, Michaels will price match and discount by an additional 10%. 

Does Michaels Offer a Teacher Discount?

Yes. Michaels offers an additional 15% to teachers for their entire purchase and the discount includes sale items. There is a limit of one teacher discount per product and one teacher discount per day. To receive the discount, teachers must show a valid school ID or have completed Michael’s educator verification process through Michael’s rewards. This teacher discount program is valid only in the United States and some exclusions do apply. 

Does Michaels Offer a Military Discount?

Yes. Michaels offers a 15% military discount off the entire purchase including sale items to active duty military, veterans, National Guard members, and registered dependents. There is a limit of one military discount per product and one military discount per customer per day. To receive the military discount at Michaels, you will need to show a valid military ID or complete the verification process through Michaels Rewards. Some exclusions do apply.

Does Michaels Offer a Senior Discount?

Yes. Michaels offers a 10% senior discount that is valid for the entire purchase including sale items. To qualify for the senior discount, individuals must be 55 year of age or older and show valid ID or have completed discount verification through the Michaels Rewards program. The senior discount at Michaels is valid only in the United States and is valid for one senior discount per product with a limit of one senior discount per customer per day. Some exclusions do apply for senior discounts at Michaels.

Can You Make a Tax Exempt Purchase at Michaels?

Yes. You can sync up your tax-exempt status with your account for Michaels Rewards to make a tax-free purchase in-store without having to fill out a tax-exempt form on every qualified purchase. Individuals or organizations can make tax-exempt purchases at Michaels. To qualify for tax-exempt purchases at Michaels, create a free Michaels Rewards account and follow the instructions to sync up your tax-exempt status and to make tax-exempt purchases at Michaels stores or on Michaels.com.
